Practice Areas

  • Trademark and Copyright

Trademarks are words, phrases, sounds and even smells, which indicate the source of your goods and services, distinguishes them from those of other companies, and embody the good will of your company. Copyright protects creative works fixed in a tangible media from those who wish to copy them without permission. Register your trademarks and copyright to insure that they receive the best protection.

  • General Business and Transactional Work

Creating business entities, negotiating, reviewing and drafting contracts are traditional legal chores. Lipton, Weinberger & Husick lawyers insure that your intellectual property receives maximum protection.

  • Technology Law

Computer technology, software, aeronautics, and marine technologies are not foreign to the lawyers of Lipton, Weinberger & Husick. We advise innovators of all stripes about protecting their intellectual property and licensing their works and inventions.

  • Entertainment Law

Strong intellectual protection and sound legal advice about licensing and contracts is important to song writers, composers, bands, and filmmakers.

  • Art Law

Intellectual property protection and management is vitally important to photographers, graphic artists, digital artists, and sculptors. Lipton, Weinberger & Husick lawyers routinely advise creative people about protecting their works whether it be by filing copyright registration applications, serving cease and desist letters, filing suit in court, or advising about business matters.

  • Internet Law

Lipton, Weinberger & Husick lawyers advise their clients about copyright and trademark issues arising from their online activities. Domain name disputes is an area of Internet law that Lipton, Weinberger & Husick lawyers have particular experience.
